Hamish described his brief to me as "interesting but incoherent". Interesting but certainly not incoherent. It was instead rich with myriad opportunities. We had to find our way through the problem of having too much to choose from. And Hamish let me help him through that.
A singular piece of real estate in Wanaka, the Alpha Ridge brand reflects prestige, confidence, vision and above all opportunity. We used theodolites and old time pieces as a base to work our ideas up from. Gold, representing how precious this piece of land is and the strong presence of the incredible geography around it had to feature in the brand.
I had a great time on this project and it still remains one of my favourites.
